International, 16.3.2011: Press conference of Laufen at the ISH a big success

At the ISH 2011 LAUFEN gave an outlook on the future of ceramics. Years of research and development have enabled the Swiss bathroom specialist to improve the recipe of ceramic, one of the oldest materials known to mankind. About 90 media representatives from all over the world watched at the stand of LAUFEN, how Dr. Werner Fischer (Director Research and Development), Designer Andreas Dimitriadis (platinumdesign) and Marc Viardot (Director Marketing and Products) presented the new ceramic and explained its advantages in a discussion. The new ceramic is not only lighter and stronger, but also allows more precise contours – while retaining the traditional production process. "The new ceramic is doing a big step forward in terms of design options and sustainability", said Dr. Fischer.
